Ocean Sea
Every morning for 8 weeks I walked up to the beach,
right after high tide had ended.
The beach would be full of all sorts of fish dying.
I would run and pick them up and try to toss them back into a sea that didnt want them anymore. It was a exercise in futility, and in the larger picture a bit morbid as well, but it made me feel good and alive and young.
There are moments when the sea is extraordinarily beautiful.
The day you came looking for me, i was at the beach, saving the fish before they died of lack of water.
I feel your abscense in more than one way. For one thing no one wakes me up in the mornings.
