Faced with the impossibility of traveling silently,
she decides to take up
the word once again .
The evening crowd washes away the morning sickness,
clinging to her bag and the greasy iron women
she tries to decode the last specks of
sun on her best friend's face .
and everyday right before her
station comes
right before her legs are about to give in ,
in those 3 minutes
she pictures him
5 hrs behind, in a land which is not his own
smoking his last cigarette in a house by the beach
and another girl 3 hrs away
with sweaty hair& large dark eyes
in a strange old school inside a park.
The 3 minutes are over.
she knows, before the vast M takes her in
that she must keep the knowledge a secret ,
that nothing not even dreams are permanent,
that nothing, not even pain is worth it,
that they had been lying to her in the books.
slowly she sinks with the knowledge love brings.
she decides to take up
the word once again .

that nothing not even dreams are permanent
That's a rather scary thought.
...that nothing not even dreams are permanent,
that nothing, not even pain is worth it,
that they had been lying to her in the books.

...that nothing not even dreams are permanent - so, so true!
